A basketball match between teams representing the North and South Islands w*s plaved to-day, the latter winning by 8 goals to 7. The match, which attracted a large attendance, was easily the best and brightest of the tourney. The play was very even throughout, Miss Meliaffy, Southland, winning the game for the South Island by scoring a few seconds before the linish. DOMINION TOURNAMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
