FIRE ENGINE UNDER TOW.

PETROL STOLEN FROM TANK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVFRCARGILL, Sunday. When the "Winton Fire Brigade received a call to a minor outbreak of fire recently it was found that the petrol had been stolen from the tank'of the fire engine. A lorry had to be borrowed to tow the engine to the fire, which was quelled by a bucket brigade. . The occurrence was reported to the Borough Council and it was stated that in the future a firem.an would sleep at the station.
