Mr. J. R. Fovv, Mayor of Hamilton, is at Hotel Cargen. Mr. F. B. Dwyer, of the Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. T. O. Bishop, secretary of the New Zealand Employers' Federation is at Hotel Cargen. Mr. T. U. Wells, chairman of the Education Board, arrived in Auckland by the early train this morning. Mr. James Fletcher, of the Fletcher Construction Company, .Limited, arrived in Auckland by the Limited express this morning. The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, and the Hon. A. Burns, M.L.C., arrived in Auckland by the early train this morning. Sir Francis Frazer, chairman of the Executive Commission of Agriculture, and Mr. David Jones and Mr. G. A. Duncan, members, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. F. Moncur, Mr. C. R. Petrie, Mr. W. P. Endean, Mr. W. J. Broadfoot and Mr A. S. Richards, M.P.'s, were passengers from Wellington to Auckland by the Limited this morning Mr. F. F. Jolly, an executive of the Farmers' Trading Company, Limited, for a number of years, has been appointed to control the life department of the Fire, Accident, Marine and Earthquake Insurance Company, Limited, Auckland. Mr. C. P. Earle, registrar of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries, and Mr. W. M. Barton, executive vice-president, will leave for Dunedin to-morrow evening to attend the fifth annual conference of the institute, which opens on Wednesday. Mr. T. A. Gresson, a member of the Inner Tenrpla, London, has buen admitted iii Christchnrcli as a barrister cf the Supreme Court of New Zealand on the motion of his father, Mr. M. J. Gresson. Mr. T. A. Gresson recently returned to New Zealand after taking an honours degree at Cambridge University. Mr. and Mrs. W. Gorrie, free lance journalists, who arrived at Dunedin recently, are about to commence a tour of the Dominion for the purpose of collecting copy. Mr. Gorrie stated on his arrival that he had visited practically every country except New Zealand, and he was anxious to find an opportunity to study social credit and its possibilities here.
