ENGINEERING SCHOOLS.

INSTRUCTORS' CONFERENCE. A conference of engineering instructors, which was attended by about 40, representing technical colleges throughout the Dominion, concluded yesterday at the Seddon Memorial Technical College. Mr. W. S. La Trobe, superintendent of technical education, and Mr. F. C. Renyard, chief inspector, were present throughout and gave valuable advice and information. Visits were also paid by the conference to places of engineering interest, and the equipment at the college was inspected. The following executive was elected: Messrs. E. §. Close (Auckland), R. Hynes (Dunedin), A. McGregor (Wellington), f 3 . Lawrie (Otahuhu), W. E. Mclndoe j (Invercargill), J. W. Poynton (Pukekolie), and G. Mitchell (Greymouth).
