The anchor is the design selected by the Maungarei Club at Ellerslie, while the Fireside Helpers chose the button and ribbon shown in the centre. The Ruahine Brighteyes designed their badge with a capital B on a leafy background, while the Cheery Chums, a new club at Mt. Eden, selected the knitting needles and ball of wool to denote their sunshine club.
