DE FOREST RADIO. DE FOREST RADIO. ANOTHER 1937 MODEL HAS ARRIVED. THE LOW-PRICED G-VALVE DUAL-WAVE TABLE MODEL. Although this Receiver is very low priced and is sold on exceptionally easy terms, it has all the beauty of tone for which tlie DE FOREST has now become world famous. Tlie sensitivity and selectivity in the 1937 has been greatly .improved, and the new Radio Frequency Coils are so designed to eliminate individual can shielding. This means that foreign reception is much more reliable than ever before, and, due to the increased selectivity, the unwanted stations may now be readily rejected. These improvements give an IMPROVED COIL EFFICIENCY OF 42 PER CENT. A NEW TYPE OF ANTENNA CIRCUIT is employed, and is responsible for improving short-wave performance and considerably improving the signal to background noise ratio. MECHANICALLY the Receiver has been VASTLY IMPROVED, the soldered joints have been DECREASED BY 77 CONNECTIONS. It is important to note that the Rogers-Majestic Corporations are now incorporated under DE FOREST, which has now made a home in Auckland with RADIO EQUIPMENT, LTD., where a full stock of Parts, Valves, etc., may be obtained at a moment's notice. AGENTS: RADIO EQUIPMENT, LIMITED, RADIO EQUIPMENT, LIMITED, 30, WELLESLEY STREET WEST. IXION CYCLE WORKS, ONEHUNGA, SUB-AGENTS.
