"JINKS, WHAT A NIGHT!"
A house on the cliffs near Deal, Kent, was aflame.- The wind from the sea blew the flames higher and higher. The firemen found themselves short of water.. There was a rushing to and fro.—furniture being heaved out of the lower windows, smaller treasures saved at the last moment. And then, from the building someone appeared carrying a parrot. "Jinks, what a night!" the parrot exclaimed.
