VISIT TO ROTORUA.

Mme. La Meri, the celebrated international dancer, is to visit Rotorua next week, where arrangements have been made for her to perform a number ot Spanish dances for the benefit or the Maoris. In return the Maoris, under the leadership of Guide Rangi, will perform their poi dances and hakas.

Since her arrival in New Zealand some four weeks ago, Mme. La Meri has devoted a considerable amount of time to the study of the poi, and already she has mastered a number of the wrist and arm movements. To-night she will f? lve hei final performance in His Majesty s Theatre, a splendid request programme having been set down for the entertainment of patrons.
