I The main features included a substantial ® i recovery in Mount Morgans; a firmer rate J for Tooth's Brewery and an improvement in Morts Docks. Banks were quiet and practically unchanged, and until the brewery section *5 was reached few quotations attracted at--6 tention. New Zealand Breweries appeared 0 easier, with sellers at £2 12/11, but ° Tooth's sold up to £2 14/9, higher by 2/ than at the beginning of the month. Colonial Sugars, Hume Pipes (AustraD lia) and Kaiapoi Woollens were at firm rates. Morts Docks improved by 4d, with a 01 sale and further buyers at 10/7. Zinc u i preferences eased on sellers' limits to £2 3 /' 0 In the mining section Mount Morgans recovered sharply to 13/1, the market 0 closing firmer, with buyers at 13/1 Vi and 0 sellers at 13/3.
