N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. WELLINGTON TEAM. *l (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, tliis day. The following boxers have been selected to represent Wellington at the New Zealand championships: — Ply weight, J. Winter; bantam-weight, J. Parker; feather-weight, G. Marshall; lightweight, H. Calder; welter-weight, W. G. Parris; middle-weight, R. Reid; light-heavy-weight, J. J. Jones. Hutt Valley representatives are:— Bantam-weight, T. Dunn; lightweight, J. Martin; middle-weight, D. Boswell; light-heavy-weight, P. Nicholl. AUCKLAND TEAM, t ; The following team has been selected to represent Auckland at the New Zealand boxing championships to be held at Wellington on September 4, 5 and 7:—Flyweight, H. Allett; bantam-weight, G. Gordon; feather-weight, P. Kelly; light-weight, R. Nixon; welter-weight, D. ,'lohnson; middle-weight, B. L. Cormack; light-heavy-weight, C. Farmer. J. Davey has been selected as trainer and Mr. A. B. Jopliss as manager. Mr. R. W. Rugg will act as delegate at the New Zealand conference. K. Moran will represent Northern Wairoa Military Boxing Association in the feather-weight class. W. Purdie and M. McHugh were not available.
