SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. TWO GAMES AT BLANDFORD. THISTLE IN CHATHAM CUP FINAL. Thistle to-morrow afternoon will play the final of the Chatham Cup competition, the New Zealand club championship, at Wellington against Western, Christchurcli, and local supporters have every confidence that the Aucklanders can again briiig back the national trophy. consequence of the absence of the Scots, _ only two senior games can be played locally, and these will be staged at Blandford Park. The first game will be between Ponsonby and Comrades, which should produce an even encounter with ihe latter battling desperately for points in the struggle to avoid relegation. The main match will bring Shore United and Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys together for the third time this season and a hard and- fast game should be the outcome.
