McCREADY V. DUSEK
There was no doubt that Auckland wrestling enthusiasts enjoyed the contest staged on Saturday night, but the fixture for this week is one which is likely to ■be even more thrilling. It will be a return bout between Danny Dusek, of Omaha, and Karl McCready, the British Empire champion, their previous engagement .being so hotly contested that anything is liable to happen when they come together again. They were matched -for the fret time at Christchurch, where McCready won by the only fall of the bout, but the Canadian was so hard pressed in the closing stages that it seemed certain the falls would .be equalised, it not changed to .being in Dusek s favour. Dusek's display proved that everything that had been claimed for lam was justified, and there is no doubt that ne is coin" to be one of the big attractions oi the closing stages of the season. Dusek belongs to a family which is known in America as "Wrestling s Riot Squad, anil during the five years lie lias wrestled as a professional he has added prestige to the family name. Among the men he has defeated are Dr. Karl Sar.pohs and Dick Shikat, while he has held the famous John Pesek to a draw. Dusek weighs over 16 stone, is nearly Oft in height and 111 every way is excellently equipped to deal with his formidable opponent.
