BRAZILIAN COFFEE.
A SACRIFICE QUOTA RIO DE JANEIRO. It. is reported that a 25 per cent sacrifice quota will be imposed by the National Coffee Department on tlie new coffee crop. It was impossible to learn whether this quota will be relinquished freely by the growers or whether it will be purchased by the Government as formerly. It is believed that by July Brazil will release ; several million hags of fine coffee. A campaign ' for wider distribution of the coffee crop was outlined before the Coffee Exporters' Association. It was recommended that distributing depots should be established in various countries in Central Europe.
