WELLINGTON, Monday.
A reward of £250. find an indemnity against prosecution are being offered by the police for material information or evidence leading to tlie conviction of the person or persons who caused the death of Mr. Ernest Severin Nelson, who was found dead of gunshot wounds at his farm in Waihou Valley, North Auckland, on June 9, in circumstances indicating that death was wilfully caused. An indemnity against prosecution will be given any accomplice who was not actually the murderer, and who first gives the required information. If there is more than one claimant for the reward, the amount is to be apportioned bv the Commissioner of Police. The offer will remain in force until October 31, and is made with the authority of the Minister in charge of the Police Department, the Hon. P. Eraser.
