One of the nvost delightful functions to he held this season took place on Saturday night, when the Oilicers' Club jjeld its annual At Home in its spacious elubrooms. Nothing had been spared to give . the many guests who attended .'in enjoyable time and things went with a swing from start: to finish. ijl ie rooms were decorated with masses 0 f palms, while bowls of golden and yellow Iceland poppies made a gay note j n the green setting. Clusters of balloons which were suspended from tlie ceiling added further brightness. The tables in the. supper room were artistically arranged with bowls of daffodils, and here also more Iceland poppies were to be seen. Dancing was the main feature of the evening and the wh&le scene was added to by the scarlet and blue uniforms of the men. A clever competition on '•'celebrities" was won by Mrs. Trevor dc Clive Lowe. On their arrival the guests were received by the president, LieutenantColonel G. Milligan, and Mrs. Million, the latter wearing a frock of
