Pakuranga, on Saturday, and a good day's sport was provided. The hunt worked across Mr. M. T. Oilman's property, and a hare was later started on Mr. J. Roberts' land. Crossing the creek into Mr. C. Connolly's farm it led the hunt over the Howick road, through Mr. J. Langford's farm and back to the concrete, where scent was lost./ Another bare put up on Mr. A. C.i Trousdale's property ran on to another part of the Langford farm, behind Mr. A. Benns' paddocks, and nearly into Howick, doubling back to Miss Gills' property on Bleak Ilill. close to which a kill was made. A third bare was put up at the mountain, and ;ed the bunt a good chase through Mr. S. Oliver's property and toward Buckland's Beach, being killed on Mr. <T. Langford's farm. A fourth hare put up on Mr. F. Roberts' land ran through the properties of Mr. E. Churches and Messrs. Roberts, back to tie Pakuranga Ilall, where the hounds were called off.
