DAMAGES OF €600 AWARDED. i —s I i Damages amounting to £000 were awarded Alfred William Wilkinson (Mr. North and Mr. A. A. Coates), confec--1 tioner, of Remuera,. by a jury in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon in his claim for £1000 arising out of the death of his wife through being struck l>y a motor van in Remuera Road on the night of April l>. The driver of the van was Willie Wong Kee (Mr. Gold- , stine), a Chinese butcher, of Auckland. The jury apportioned the damages as 5 follows: To the plaintiff £2">o. t<> the daughter Elizabeth £1">0 and to ns'-h I of two sons. Edmond and Alfred, £100.
