The death took place at Ban on Sunflay of the Fijian High Chief Ratu Ini Sa'vura. who was a grandson of the late King Cakoban and cousin of Ratu Pope Cakobau. so well known as t'.ie genial host of Ban. Ratn Savura v,a< fi"> years of age. He was for a time in the service of the Government and was also a native medical practitioner. A tabua or whale's tooth was sent to Ban by' the Native Department as a token of hi-rh respect and mourning willi the people o£ Ban. •
