SOUND FINANCES. In the course of his remarks at the annual meeting of the Te Awamutu Cooperative Dairy Company, Mr. C. M. Alexander, who has been chairman ol directors since the inception of the company, contrasted the present position of the company, with 360 suppliers representing over 17,000 cows, with the position in 1926, when the company commenced with 48 suppliers representing 2000 cows. He stated that the company's fixed assets had been well written down by depreciation, and now stood at £17,000 dear of mortgage. Thus, owing to the manner fn which the company's financial position had been consolidated, suppliers would j reap the benefit from now on. I
