LARGE WOOL STORE. REPLACING FIRE LOSS. ' : (By Telegrsph—Own Correspondent.) NAPIER, Monday. A contract for £35,000 has been let by the Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd., for the erection of a new wool store at Port Ahuriri to replace the building destroyed by fire a week agn. The building is to be a two-storeyed one of ; »ferro-concrete construction, designed to embody earthquake and firuresistinyr properties. A start was made this morning with the work, which will require to be pushed through rapidly, as the ground floor is to be ready by the middle of October to accommodate wool to be offered at the early sales of next season's series. The contractors are a Napier firm. Messrs. Burlingham Bros, and MacMillan.
