HAMILTON V. GISBORNE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The Hamilton Chess Club defeated the Gisborne Chess Club in a telegraphic match concluded on Saturday. On results judged to date Hamilton won by 5 games to 2, with four games drawn. The remaining five games have been forwarded for adjudication, and Hamilton expects* to have a winning advantage in three of these.
