PROGRESSIVE CLUB.
The elubroom of the Women's Progressive Club, Y.W.C.A., looked attractive recently with bowls of golden wattle and Iceland poppies, when Mrs. Story presided at an afternoon. The speaker was Captain Banyard. C.A., who spoke 011 the work of the Auckland Prisoners' Aid Society and the reform prisons in England. Mrs. Ktorv read her report from the National Council. The roll-call was "My favourite book and author." Mrs. and Miss Horsfield acted as hostesses.
