TAKAPUNA AND BELMONT.
Mrs. J. McGregor presided in the absence of the president, Mrs. M. Fotheringham, at a meeting of the Takapuna branch of the Plunket Society yesterday.
Mention was made of the assistance given through private bridge parties, by Mrs. Oscar Boak, Mrs. Eric Winstone, Mrs. Logan Nicks, Mrs. A. Conlan, Mrs. \ Gold water and Mrs. L. Restall. As a result of their efforts £•"> 3/ had been handed over to the fuml for the provision of new scales for the 1 lunket
rooms. The nurse's report for Takapuna for June was as follows: New cases, 7; visits to homes, 45; visits to rooms, adults 16(5, babies 148. children 33; total, 347; Truby King boys and girls enrolled, 45. ' The money 'received from the Plunket box amounted to 10/7. For Julv the report was: —New cases, 8; visits to homes, 51; visits to rooms, adults 144, babies 121, children 20; total, 204; money from boxes. £3 2/. The report for Belmont was:—.Tune: New cases, 4; visits to homes, 11; visits to rooms, adults 43. babies 30, children 3; total, S4; money from box, 7/5. July: New cases, .1; visits to homes, 10; visits lo rooms, adults 50, babies 55, childien 5; totel, HO; money from boxes, 9/10.
