BERESFORD STREET CHURCH. Members of the Beresford Street Congregational Church have again shown their practical interest in the wotk and mission of their church by contributing £550 to the offertory on Commemoration Day last Sunday. A few months ago, during ' their jubilee celebrations, they gave £225 towards the cost of effecting improvements and modernising the organ. During the past ten years, by means of voluntary offerings alone, and without bazaars or sales of work of any kind, the church has raised for special purposes no less a sum than £13,000.
