May T respectfully suggest to our city authorities that they already possess a very suitable and adequate site for the proposed new fire station in the old Ponsonby reservoir block. The site has the advantage of four road frontages, and. being at the highest practical point in the city, provides a perfect lookout. flic new Nelson Street extension will provide a direct route free of tram rails to the heart of the city.
