PATIENT IN MONOPLANE. TRIP FROM MANGONUI. A patient from the North was brought to Auckland by aeroplane this morning for admission to a private hospital. The Auckland Aero Club's Puss Moth, a cabin monoplane, was chartered, and the pilot, Flight-Lieutenant D. M. Allan, was accompanied by Mr. S. E. Langstone, secretary-manager of the St. John Ambulance.

The patient, who is 75 years old, -\yas flown from Cooper's Beach, Mangonui, to Mangere, and completed the journey to hospital in an ambulance. The trip occupied one hour and a half each way, and was entirely successful.
