HAMILTON IMPROVEMENTS.

FULL INVESTIGATION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Thursday. The first public intimation that plans were under consideration for lowering the railway line of the Victoria Street level crossing and generally making improvements to the railway layout at Hamilton was given by Mr. R. Worley, borough engineer, at the Borough Council meeting last night. Mr Worley said the project was favoured by the district railways engineer, who was fully investigating the question and would report to the head office at Wellington.
