AUSTRALIAN CLUB.
A duplicate contract- bridge tournament was held on. Wednesday at the Australian Club. Mrs. Bruce Smith was the convener and also hostess, and was assisted by Mrs. Scott Young. The winning pairs were Mrs. W. Bloomfield, and Mrs. C. White (N.S.). Mrs. A. Israel and Mrs. G. Pezaro E.W). Auction bridge was also played, Mis. Thomas • holding the highest score.
