Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland City Council to introduce a Local Bill into Parliament during the present session thereof under the title of the Auckland City Abattoir Act. 1930. The objects of the said Bill are :—
1. To authorise the Auckland City Council to prescribe by resolution the charges payable for the use of the I Abattoir and the fees payable 111 1 respect of meat sold or exposed for sale in the Abattoir District, and j also the charges to be paid for any service given by the Abattoir. 2. To make provision for the computation of the annual cost of tlie Abbatoir and flic {''funding of excess payments and for the management and conduct of the Abattoir. 3. To authorise the City Council to advance out of its District Fund the sum of £5500 for the purpose of settling tlie claims for refund of excess fees and charges paid during the period from the Ist day of April, 1925, to the 31st day of March, 1930. 4. To authorise the Council by special order and without taking the steps described in Sections 0 to 13 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1020, to raise a special loan not exceeding the sum of £5500 and to refund the same to its District Fund. 5.
