NAPIER IMPROVEMENT. CITIZEN'S HANDSOME GIFT. ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. Through the munificence of a wellknown Napier citizen, Mr. T. Parker, Napier will be provided shortly with a handsome addition to the scheme of improvements under which the Marine Parade foreshore is being developed. Oil behalf of the citizens of Xapier, the Mayor, Mr. C. 0. Morse, has accepted a gift of £1000 from Mr. Parker for the installation of an electric fountain, the largest in New Zealand and one of the few of its kind to be found in the world. The site will be near the northern end of the garden area.
