EXPORT MEAT TRADE.

NINE MONTHS' RETURNS. Shipments of frozen and chilled meat from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the nine months from October 1 to June 30 in recent years have been as follow:— 1933-34. 1034-35. 1935-36. Increases are shown in pigs and chilled beef. The reduction in lamb shipments should be lessened before the season closes, as there were at June 30 over 440,000 carcases still in New Zealand awaiting shipment.
