Reporting on the world hide markets as at June 18, Messrs. W. Weddel and Company state:— _ Taking the recent political developments into account, it is difficult to forecast the future of the hide market. The situation in France is still unsettled, and the Government is having difficulties -in mastering the various problems, and the uncertainty with regard to eventual currency restrictions has an adverse affect on business. On the other hand, the decision of the Cabinet to drop the sanctions policy is expected to have a stimulating effect on the market. '
