ST. JOHN'S GUILD.

The monthly meeting of St. John's Methodist Women's Guild was held in the school hall yesterday afternoon, the Rev. F. J. Handy presidng over a large gathering. After finalising the general business, afternoon tea was served, during which Mrs. George Smith, the guild's secretary, was congratulated on her twenty years' connection with the guild. During the later part of the afternoon, the Rev. E. Harold Sharp, the newly-appointed minister of the Mount Albert Methodst Church, gave an inspiring address on "Christ and the World's Unrest."
