JAPANESE SHIPPING LINE. SERVICE TO CONTINUE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. In answer to a report that there was a likelihood of the discontinuance of its direct shipping service between Japanese ports and New Zealand main ports, the Kobe office of the Yamashita Steam Ship Company (YtS.K. Line) has cabled its Wellington agents stating that so far as their line is concerned they have 110 intention whatever of discontinuing their service, and that the regular monthly direct service will be maintained between the two countries.
