PEACE MOVEMENT.
MEETING HELD. The usual meeting of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom was held at the Fabian Club on Tuesday, Mrs. Pickett presiding. A large amount of correspondence was dealt with, including a letter from Canon Sheppard's Peace Association, which sent a number of cards pledging those who signed them (men) to refuse to assist or sanction war in any w*ay whatever. It is hoped that 250,000 signatures will be obtained.
Sir Norman Angell's pamphlet "You and Mustard Gas," was welcomed as certain to make fine propaganda. Mrs. Dixon gave an interesting address on China, where she lived for" many years, and where she is conducting peace propaganda
