CRIPPLED CHILDREN.
DANCE FOR FUND. A dance was held by the Misses Ailsa and Catherine Young and their brother Bob, at Mr. and Sirs. R. B. Young's home, "Mainston," Mainston Road, Remuera, in aid of the Mayor's Fund for Crippled Children. In spite of the wild night, over !>0 young people attended, and with the heip of a few unable to attend, the fund will benefit to the extent of £8, which, with the £30 raised at Mrs. Young's bridge parties at "Mainston" on Thursday, makes the gross total collected £38, which amount has been forwarded to his Worship the Slayor. A pleasant evening was spent, Mr. J. Hutchison and Master T. McSlanemin giving an exhibition of tap dancing, which added to the pleasure.
