The Government party caucus was continued this morning and adjourned at 1 o'clock until to-morrow morning. The Prime Minister, tlie Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, said that to-day's sitting was occupied with consideration of the mortgage legislation, and he could not see any possibility of the bill being brought down this week.
