SAILS FROM TAHITI. NEW YORK VIA HORN. Advice was received this morning that the sliip Joseph Conrad, which left Auckland last February, sailed from Tahiti on Thursday, July 2, for New York and London, via Cape Horn. The vessel, after leaving Auckland with five young men as part of her crew, called at Samarai, New Guinea, to land two gold prospectors. From there .slie called at Lord Howe Island and passed through Cook Strait on May 20, arriving at Tahiti on June 20. When she sailed from Tahiti the ship was reported to be in good trim. All hands, worked hard and stepped a new main mast and bent on a new suit of heavy sails for the voyage round the Horn. She may call at the Falklands on her way to New York.
