CORONATION PLANS.
EMPIRE COMMISSION TO SIT. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 20. "With the object of co-operation ill Coronation plans,'the King has appointed a special Coronation Commission comprising representatives of Britain and the Dominions "which will meet in London to consider aspects of the arrangements which are their common concern." Britain is to be represented by members of the Coronation Committee of the Privy Council. New Zealanders will be the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, and Sir James Parr, while Australians will include the Federal Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons; the Hipli Commissioner, Mr. S. M. Bruce; tlie former Governor-General, Sir Isaac Isaacs; a judge. Sir George Rich; and the Labour Opposition leader, Mr. J. Curtin. The Duke of York will be chairman of the committee.
