WAIKATO EAST CONTESTS
In the deciding game of the Waikato East A grade pennant competition the Morrinsville Golf Club defeated *htamata at Morrinsville at the week-end by six games to one, another game being all square. Results (Jlorrinsville first) : S. G. Cooper beat L IT. Little, 3 and 1; J. Lee beat J. Corbett," G and 5: ;N. Ross and H. G. Keelev, all square; T. J. Ryan lost to H. Conder, 6 and 4 ; W. Maingay beat J. Carrutliers, 2 and 1; A. J. Holly beat X. Johnson, 4 and 3; N. J. Howie beat G. Irving, 2 and 1. In another Waikato East pennant competition match at Walton during the weekend Putaruru defeated Walton by sis games to two.
