CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING.
HUNTLY GUN CLUB. The Huntly Gun Club held its first shoot of the season during the week-end at Kimihia, when there was a fair muster. Weather conditions were fair and some good scores were registered. Results :— Seven-Bird Sweepstake.—Possibles were shot by X. Bossad (19yds), G. Kosoof (17yds), H. Meier (13yds), H. Sodersten (11yds), J. Wright (15yds), X. Saunders (15yds). Double Itisc of Six Birds. —G. Kosoof (10yds), 5 birds; J. Malcolm (10yds), T. James (15yds), H. Meyer (12yds), 4 birds each. Twelve-Bird Handicap (for three tropliies).—N. Bossad (20yds), J. Malcolm (17yds), 11. Meyer (13yds), 11. Sodersten T. James (10yds), X. Saunders (10yds), M. J. Wright (10yds), 10 birds each; A. Berry (12yds), H. Sodersten (12yds), 10 birds each; A. Crab tree (10yds), !) birds. There were 14 entries. ~ . the shoot-oft! G. Kosoof missed his fourth bird. X. Bossad missed his fifth, leaving J. Malcolm to take first prize, N. Bossad second and G. Kosooff third prize. Gimcrack of Six Birds.—Algar Clinch (10-20 yds), 0 birds; J. Malcolm (17-27 yds), II Meyer (10-20.vds), H. Sodersten (1020yds), 5 birds each. Six-Bird Sweepstake. — Possibles were shot by J. Malcolm (21yds), X. Bossad (22yds). A. Clinch (15yds), G. Kosoof (21 yds), H. Sodersten (12yds). American Shoot.—Possibles were shot by X. Bossad, G. Kosoof, J. Malcolm, A. Clinch. H. Sodersten. The shoot-off was decided by a walk-up from 27yds. J. Malcolm won on the thirteenth bird, with G. Kosoof second, X. Bossad third and A. Clinch fourth.
