PINK AND MAGNOLIA SCHEME.

Exquisite flowers decorated St. Mark s Church last evening for the wedding of Miss Mollie Court, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Court, of Orakei Road, Remuera, and Mr. Richard Eric Cunningham, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Cunningham, of Stanley Bay. Against the carved oak of the chancel and pulpit were bowls of lilies, also pin ' flowers mingled with branches of native foliage turning from green to gold and brown. Over the first step of the alta was a beautiful archway of delicate ferns, a large bow of cellophane bein suspended from the ccr.tre. °f*® . pink and white blooms made a lane of flowers for the bride and her retinue. A unique feature after the service in the church was the large mincer of old and present pupils of Hill lop School, who formed a guard of honour and held flaming torches to light the way to the church gates. The Rev. J. Beaufort officiated, and Mr. A. Pascoe presided at the harmonium.

The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a gown of deep-toned pearl crepe cloque threaded with silver. Cut on slender lines, the bodice had long sleeves, and the collar was fashioned in Medici style. The beautifully-cut skirt had a panel with cluster of shirring from the knees, and the back panel, which was also shirred, was cut in one to form a long sweeping train. Round the waist was a silver' plaited girdle. Over the gleaming gown fell a misty tulle veil of the same pearl tone. It was arranged on the head with a Juliet cap, trellised with pearls and orange blossom buds. The bride carried a crescent of flowers which comprised Dutch pearl freesias, orchids and pleytomene.

Following her down tlie aisle were the bridesmaids and flower girl. They were the Misses Barbara Court (bride's sister), Margaret Hargreaves, Constance Cunningham, Dorothy Lewisham and Yvonne Court. They wore beautiful gowns of blush rose crepe cloque dotted in silver. The bodices had. wide open sleeves lined with silver blister lame, and petal-shaped Medici collars, while the skirts, which were cut on graceful lines, had a pleated panel in the front from the knees, and another panel at the back to form long trains. Plaits of silver were used at the waist. Hats of silver lame "were fashioned in the style of Mary Queen of Scots, and had three velvet flowers at the back. The flower girl wore a period frock of blush pihk tulle, with ruffles forming the short sleeves and round the neck. Her headdress was a Juliet cap of tulle and rosebuds. They all carried sheaves of pink carnations, roses and soft ferns. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Stanley Cunningham, as best man, and the groomsman was Mr. Murnty Court. Ushers at the church were Messrs. Arthur Morpeth, Douglas Somerville, Arthur Churton, Mervyn Mair and L. McLaren Smith. After the ceremony a brilliantly arranged reception was held at George Coupfs tea room and private hall, the decorations being a bower of silver, white and pink ribbons, which formed a huge canopy, and masses of pink lilies, roses, cyclamens and carnations decoratively used on the tables and window sills. Mrs. Court received the guests in a graceful gown of hyacinth blue and silver lame, relieved with a cherry velvet lined sash, and kolinsky fur wrap. Her hat was of blue georgette and tulle. She carried a bouquet of cyclamens. The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Cunningham, wore a frock of Parma violet velvet and lace, with hat of the same shade. Her bouquet was of double primroses. Mrs. A. Joll, the bride's grandmother, wore a black flat crepe, with small black hat. Mrs. George Court, sen., also grandmother of the bride, wore a black blister crepe gown and black hat; Miss Marjorie Cunningham, midnight blue glace silk and hat to tone.
