DEATHS OF TWO MEN. IXTOXICATIOX ALLEGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUXEDIX, this day. Tlio criminal sittings opened this morning with the trial of , John Francis Harris on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor car and causing the deaths of Joseph Rogan and Charles Xieol Stewart. An alternative charge was of negligent driving causing death. This case is the sequel to a tragedy near the Oval on May 9, in which two men, who were pedestrians, and two women were struck by a car. The men were fatally injured. Accused preafied not guilty. Evidence is being heard on the lines given in the Lower Court.
