Mr. McKean, S.M., says he would have less hesitation in sending drunken motorissts to gaol if there were a special division for them. Mr. Warner Mason, feature writer for "Chicago Tribune," arrived by Niagara to-day to collect material for series of articles and travel talks. Niagara, with Empire air mail and 138 passengers for Auckland, arrived this morning from Sydney; she sails for Vancouver at 11 a.m. to-morrow. Interesting point disclosed concerning interpretation of a section of Police Offences Act when two watersiders were before Police Court to-day on a charge of being unlawfully found on hotel premises.
