BUTTERFAT PAYMENTS.

RANGITAIKI PLAINS. (By Telegraph.—Special te " Star.") WHAKATANE, this day. On July- 20 the Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Co., Ltd., will distribute £26,700 to its suppliers, this sum representing an advance on June butterfat and deferred payment for the months of July, 1935. to December, 1935, inclusive. After this distribution haj been made the company's suppliers will have received an average cash payment for the first six months of the season of 12.1 d per lb of butterfat at farm gate over all grades. It is anticipated that a large sum will be distributed as a further deferred payment during the first half of August.
