TO-DAY IN CHRISTCHURCH. BREWERIES ADVANCE FURTHER. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A good volume of business was recorded, the sales covering a wide range. A few lower values were reached, and quotations generally confirmed the check shown 011 Saturday. An exception was provided in -Morts Dock; which rose sharply by lid,' and closed firm with buyers 13/5 and sellers 13/7. New Zealand Breweries gained two points, the market closing linn from £2 14/ to £2 14/2. Miscellaneous issues were fairly active, Coles recording sales of 300 shares at a reduction of Sd. Colonial Sugars lnul a heavy turnover at unaltered rates. Sellers of Broken Hill Proprietary asked £3 15/3, and Australian Glass was quoted between £4 12/ and £4 14/0. Mount Morgans, ex dividend, were steady, compared with cum dividend rates. Mount Lyells eased on selling limits to £1 6/9, with buyers at £1 6/3. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
