. i ' i The annual social and presentation of ' trophies won during the past season was ' held in conjunction with the Ladies ; Croquet Club in the Mangere Bowling ' Club's pavilion on Saturday evening. Those ! present enjoyed games of bridge and 500. 1 The president, Mi'. H. E. Fricker, presented : the following trophies:— : Champion Singles Cup.—R. G. Prangley. '; Handicap Singles.—R. G. Prangley. ' Half-day Tournament. —Sanderson, Las- ; lett and Prangley. The winners of the cards were : —Bridge : Mr. T. H. Mitchell and Miss Timms. 500 : Mr. J. Somers and Mrs. G. Martin. 1 In an effort to encourage first year mem- ' be.rship for 1936-7 season, the club has [ decided to substantially reduce its annual , subscription.
