CABINS FLOODED.

MAUNGANUI BUFFETED. PASSENGER INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Maunganui, which arrived from San' Francisco to-day, encountered high winds and strong seas yesterday. One huge sea heeled her to port, and before she was righted two large successive waves struck her on the starboard side. Many passengers were seated on the port side and their chairs either slid into the scuppers or the passengers were thrown out of them, some suffering bruises. One passenger was tangled up with the chairs in the saloon and sprained his wrist besides receiving other minor injuries. Many deck cabins were flooded, but no other damage was done.
