HEAVY INDUSTRIES.
AUSTRALIA'S PROGRESS. (Rcceiveil 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Speaking at Grafton, the PostmasterGeneral, Mr. McLachlan, predicted that Australian iron and steel products would soon enter the markets of the world in face of world competition, and so relieve primary industries of some of the burden of external debt service.
