Arthur Hodgson, of Rotorua, was employed by Matthew Henderson, a contractor, at enlarging the head-race supplying power to the Wairakei HotelHe was dipping a jug in the Waikato River at the entrance to the Huka Rapids when ho was drawn into the water. He was last seen under the suspension bridge, and disappeared over the Huka Falls. He has not been seen since. The police are now searching for the body. Hodgson was a married man with two children.
